DELTA specialists visited Zoloto Delmachik as part of the Gold Heap Leaching project
June 10, 2026

In late May 2026, DELTA specialists hae visited Zoloto Delmachik in the Trans-Baikal Region as part of Gold Heap Leaching Project.

The Delmachik gold-antimony deposit is located in the Shilka District of the Trans-Baikal Region. The deposit is currently being mined for ores and sands containing precious metals (gold, silver, and platinum group metals).

The main goal of the site visit was data collection for further design and detailed design, and cost estimate documentation, as well as to develop solutions required for subsequent State Environmental and State Expert Reviews.

Over the course of several days, our engineers worked directly on-site: they surveyed the territory, learned the existing infrastructure, discussed technical solutions with the Client’s representatives, and collected baseline data for further design. Particular attention was paid to future construction sites, existing utility networks, and tie-ins for the new facilities to the plant’s production infrastructure. In addition, the specialists held a series of working meetings with the company’s Process, Power, and Operations departments.

The collected materials will provide the basis for design documentation in accordance with the requirements of Russian Federation Government Resolution No. 87, the sanitary protection zone design, as well as Detailed Design and Cost Estimate documentation.

On-site visit confirmed the effeciency of close collaboration between the engineering team and the site specialists of Zoloto Delmachik. The data obtained and the agreements reached will allow us to move on to the next phase of the project with a full understanding of the facility’s specific features and the Client’s objectives.
